Zoom Car Customer Care Complaint – False Invoice
I have a reservation for a Self-Driven Car with Zoomcar. From the 28th of May at 9:00 p.m. through the 1st of June at 9:00 p.m.
I was able to get confirmation from Zoomcar. That a Hyundai i20 will be delivered to the Airport at 9 o’clock at night. Between the hours of 9:15 and 10:30. I repeatedly contacted Zoom Car’s customer care, but I was unable to acquire a car.
After waiting for more than an hour outside the airport and making 25-30 calls to Zoom car and their Delivery Agents. My family and I were forced to depart the airport in a different cab at an additional expense. This included my wife and our two children.
I decided to leave when there was no firm delivery confirmation. I called Zoom car customer care to cancel the booking. So that I could get a return of the sum together with compensation for the large loss I sustained. (I was forced to pay an additional cost of between Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 5,000.) During my call with Zoom car customer care, I was given confirmation that the reservation has been canceled. The refund will be processed within the next 24 to 48 hours. It’s been 5 days, and rather than providing me a refund. Zoomcar is sending me a new payment invoice for Rs. 720/-.
Your company has entirely taken me by surprise with the way it has been conducting its business. You have been urging me to return the car without first delivering the car. You are demanding an additional payment of Rs. 720/-? Exactly for whom are your systems being created?
Please provide me with documentation that you have delivered the CAR if you have already done so. If the automobile has not been delivered. Why does it still appear to be running, and how are you planning to make up the difference in cost?
Should I also file a complaint against Zoom car customer care with the Consumer Court?
