Grocery Delivery service Failure

Tue 12/14 early morning placed grocery order. Order still has not been delivered as of today Wed 12/15. Called to find order at 2:48 spoke with employee she said they were swamped lack of drivers then she says, “Oh a driver just walked in I’ll have him deliver to you now” Well turns out that was a lie. Victoria called me today to let me know my groceries would NOT be delivered again today due to no drivers. Victoria also said drivers don’t come back to that area, so first person lied about a driver ready to deliver. Next call 4:08 same run around but this time I hear 3 different voices laughing hysterically in the background. Seems to me they had nothing better to do imagine that. Next call at 4:15 a man answers trying to help says Hes been there 6 days. Who put him InCharge of the phone under a crisis situation??Clearly the 3 voices in the background still laughing hysterically no doubt at him trying to figure thing out. Where is the manager who’s clearly not doing her/his job? Straight up there is no protocol, no order of routine.
Last week employee Elisabeth answered the phone and told me that I can either cancel or I could call the roadies phone and leave a mag wait for a call back and find a driver. I told Elisabeth I wasn’t calling anyone WHY?? I’M THE CUSTOMER!
The employees don’t even know how to speak, what to say, how to say it, how to help politely. Absolutely unacceptable! The managers are not InCharge the roadies are, and they know it. If they don’t want to work, they don’t. Hire your own drivers, set hours, 3 hr shifts flat rate pay plus tips, mileage, gas. offer part timers part time driving for extra hours and pay. U already have the employees. Figure this mess out!! Oh, I spoke with the assistant store manager I let her know I’m paying 5cents per pay with one item inside. I said not acceptable combine reduce the waste. She clearly either didn’t do anything or told grocery manager to fix it and it is not done! Why? Because no one followed up! It is a free for all in delivery until you walk in unannounced!
