Staff need to learn not to humiliate its customers
Ordered a lamb kebab and a halloumi burger. The kebab was raw inside. When I went back to complain the waiter/chef was apologetic and asked if I’d like it replaced, I said yes…then a young lady came out (tanned, aged 20-30 with tattoos) she rudely exclaimed “we cook all our food medium and so we like to be told if you want it differently”. The kebab was not medium, it was rare/ borderline medium rare.
The chef put the kebab back in their cooker (not a fresh kebab as he had originally offered, but the one I had taken a bite out of) and gave it back to me a few mins later. I left and when I stuck the fork into the kebab meat, it was still bloody inside. From the photos you can see it was just about medium rare after the second “cooking”. Having read a few other reviews, serving raw food seems to be quite common for this establishment.
Terrible. We spent £17 and we would not return or recommend!
Staff need to learn not to humiliate its customers by telling them all their food is served “medium” and they also need to learn how to serve food properly cooked. You’re ruining a potentially-good business.
