Reverse gear intermittent issue in Hyundai i10 Grand car
I purchased a new Hyundai i10 Grand car on 31st July-2020. After driving for couple of weeks, I noticed that there is an reverse gear intermittent issue (sometimes reverse gear gets stuck). So during 1st servicing I requested to fix it but I was told it’s an known issues with petrol variant in this model & I have to live with it. When I raised an concern, service manager of Madinaguda Branch, Hyderabad intervened and promised to do the needful by adjusting clutch.
However, the issue still persists and my vehicle was inspected/called for six times for last 6 months for further inspection & fix but so far no luck.
Initially I was given an official document by service center manager himself that whenever this issue occurs “return the gear to neutral->release the clutch & press pedal again fully then shift the gear”. It is not acceptable at all.
Now whenever I raise concern, they simple inspect the vehicle and make a generic statement that “No abnormalities found” and keep checking the vehicle without any resolution ETA.
