Olive Garden Complaint – Poor Service And Inept Manager

In order to celebrate my brother’s birthday a few days ago, my family and I went to the Olive Garden at the Montebello Towncenter in Rosemead, California for supper. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the poor treatment we had there. My party of nine had a terrible experience overall. One of us left frustrated and hungry before we even got our dinner plate. It took our first waitress, Genesis, a bit to acquire our drink order.

But once she did, we were able to quickly order an appetizer and our main course. It would appear that she went home and did not inform the second waitress, Destiny, that she did not place our order. As a result, we waited for more than an hour. When our waitress finally came over to ask what we had all ordered. We assumed that she was checking on the status of our order.

A large company arrived approximately half an hour after we did, and they were served their food. This group was in front of us when we arrived. At that point, we were aware that the initial waitress had not entered our order into the system. My cousin left the Olive Garden restaurant in a foul mood and stated that he did not want any more food. After we called her attention to the fact that she was avoiding us. The waitress admitted that she and the other waitress who had just left home had failed to communicate effectively.

The manager, Julian, came over to speak with us, listened to what we had to say, and then said, “I will be back.” He did so after we had completed our lunch. My opinion is that he did not solve any problems. It would have been good to have a discount, but all he gave was an appetizer or a dessert. This is an unacceptable and unsatisfactory level of service that you provide to long-standing clients.

We have been very loyal to your firm. I have even contacted customer service to raise a concern about this issue. Nevertheless, my family and I have decided to move our business elsewhere where they will appreciate the opportunity to earn it. It is necessary to reprehend the initial waitress, Genesis.
