We invested a significant amount in News Anchored Publications to have our business featured in ten publications, only to discover that one or two of them had notable rankings, and the websites lacked substantial organic traffic. Upon investigation by our SEO vendor, it was disclosed that none of the platforms in question possessed commendable SEO work on our article’s standing or garnered significant traffic. This prompted an inquiry into the justification for paying to showcase our business on ostensibly prestigious platforms that failed to attract meaningful traffic from Google searches. It became evident that this venture was misleading, as these purportedly reputable news sites were, in reality, engaging in questionable practices akin to domain manipulation, colloquially referred to as a form of “domain mafia.”
