Landlord and Tenant Affairs fails to enforce CDC guidelines
Landlord and Tenant Affairs ignore my complaint against MURN management at Alta @ Liberty Mill Apartments regarding social distancing and mask-wearing to prevent the spread of COVID 19. I filed three months ago even though Montgomery County, MD is experiencing the highest death COVID 19 fatalities in the State of Maryland.
Landlord and Tenant Affairs Lorie Seals investigator proceed with my other complaint after it was dropped and it was resolved with another department with Montgomery government. She used her office to be deceptive, dishonest and misleading on the complaint form stating words I never said.
Montgomery County, Maryland Landlord, and Tenant Affairs Lorie Seals and Rosie McCarthy refuse to investigate my complaint to save lives and the prevention of the spread of the Cornovirus at Alta@ Liberty Mill Apartments.
Montgomery County Declaration on Racism and Health disparity regarding COVID 19 is a scam and unenforceable. The landlord and tenant affairs don’t care for the lives of the citizens however protect wealthy owners and landlords.
CDC guidelines there are scientific evidence and best practices support continued limitations on large gatherings, increased use of face coverings, and continued social distancing to prevent exposures and transmissions, and reduce the threat to especially vulnerable populations, including older and disabled individuals as those who have chronic health conditions.
Cleaning and maintenance staff must wear safety guards to prevent the transmission of coronavirus occurs which is much more commonly through respiratory droplets than through objects and surfaces, like doorknobs, countertops, keyboards, toys, etc. Current evidence suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for the prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in community settings. To reduce the threat to human health caused by the transmission of COVID-19 and to protect and save lives, it is necessary and reasonable that individuals in the Montgomery County continue to engage in social distancing and the use of face coverings, etc.
As the U.S. has confirmed over 6.92 million cases of COVID-19 and over 201,000 people have died of the disease. Presently Montgomery County eclipsed 800 COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, making it the first jurisdiction in Maryland to reach that milestone, according to state data.
The death toll now stands at 801. Another 40 people, health officials say, may have died from COVID-19, but never got tested. A lab test must confirm infection before a “probable death” can be added to the official fatality count.
Montgomery County, which is home to roughly 1.1 million people, continues to have the highest number of deaths in the state.
It also has the second-highest number of confirmed cases, after Prince George’s County, which has 28,715, according to the latest figures.

The building is concentrated with more minorities that is why they care more about private schools in Montgomery County rather than care about the lives of Multifamily housing where people of color resides. As the most landlords and owners are wealthy and white.
