After a day of exploring i came back to find 2 maintenance workers in my room. One immediately said “we are just fixing the lock, none of your stuff is missing” which made me think the exact opposite of course. He then said that someone from front desk was supposed to inform me before they entered the room which never happened. When I went downstairs to ask why the call didn’t come to me before they entered my room and was told that the maintenance team was supposed to call me. The front desk person then took my number and told
Me the GM would call me which they didn’t.
I also waited for 10 minutes to get my bag from the locked area while 3 employees stood around and did nothing with the bag behind the door 10 steps away.
Very unnerving stay with no attempt by staff to better the situation. Stay elsewhere and actually enjoy San Fran.
