Carters Credit Card Complaint – Not Working Properly

On January 2nd, 2023, I placed an order. As soon as I entered my Carters credit card information. The website sent it back to me with a message that my credit card had a problem. That struck me as odd, so I attempted it a couple more times, but each time it was rejected with an error message. I completed it four times altogether. After that, my concern over my Carters credit card increased. Then I noticed ALL FOUR ORDERS HAD BEEN COMPLETED! I called Carters right away because it had placed all of the orders totaling more than $180. For Two hour and 40 minutes, I was on hold.

When I finally got through, the lady said she could cancel the orders for me, but it would take 3-5 business days for my money to be returned. Do you mean I won’t be able to access my OWN MONEY for a week? Because you made a mistake? She stated that there was nothing she could do, that they did not withdraw the money from the account, but that I couldn’t touch it!

That I could call Carters Customer Support and see what they could do. I have two children and require financial assistance. Carters has placed such a burden on me, and for them to say, “Oh, we’re sorry, we took all your money from your carters credit card for the week, have a good time figuring that out,” is repugnant. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT CARTERS AGAIN! I WILL ALSO ADVISE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO SHOP THERE!
