Failed NEW Dishwasher
The Military Exchange sold me a new dishwasher through a 3rd party. The product is a dishwasher from AVANTI located in Miami.
The unit was ordered on Feb 3, 2021 and arrived on Feb 18, 2021. It has NEVER worked. There is an error message on the front that says E4. The first time I was able to reach AVANTI I was told that the error code meant that the mother board had failed. They took the information and gave me a reference number of 41942.
I was asked to give the company 3 to 5 days to contact the repair company. Which I did On March 10 I again called AVANTI to tell them that the repair company did not contact me. They gave me the name of the company Capital Appliance in Clearwater FL along with their phone number. I call Capital and they told me that there was no work order for me. I then called back to AVANTI who stated they would “again” send the work order – I also requested that a manager call me .
Today is Friday March 12 and no call form AVANTI. I called to the repair facility (CAPITAL) and they checked all the records and they still have no repair order. I again contacted AVANTI for the 4th time, I was told the manager had been on vacation and that is why he did not return my call. But”he is in the office tight now and I will transfer you to him”. Needles to say all I got again was a voice mail. I left in no uncertain terms a message that they HAVE to contact me NOW!
The warranty started to run on the day I purchased the dishwasher per their warranty policy that came with the unit. We are now 7 weeks into the warranty and the unit does not work and I am out of that repair time
