Scanpan Sauté Pan
The Scanpan I purchased from Sur La Table on 4/14/2020 is having issues with the nonstick portion of the pan. I have only hand-washed the pan and have been very careful to only use silicone utensils on it. That being said- I am rather devastated that this has happened to this expensive pan. I haven’t even done that much cooking with it in the past few years due to physical and emotional/mental health issues. I contacted Sur La Table & Scanpan about this issue.
Scanpan wants me to pay for shipping my pan back to them, which is not cheap (more than $55). Not only that- they will not tell me what pan I will be given in its place or when, as my pan is out of stock on their website. Zero transparency. So I will be keeping my pan and continuing to use it. Will likely be part of a later class action lawsuit against Scanpan. Accordingly, I will no longer do business with them.
