Alibaba The Scammers, The Crooks
The online marketplace known as Alibaba.com is home to the world’s most notorious con artists. Because Alibaba permits any business that advertises on their website to purchase “gold/platinum and premium” membership logos to promote on their site for $300-$500. Customers have the impression that the business in question is a respectable one.
Most clients turn to Alibaba for help when they have been taken advantage of by so-called platinum membership companies after doing business with them. Your first interaction with Alibaba Website will begin with them saying, “I’m sorry, we are not liable for companies advertising bogus businesses.” This is a firm with its headquarters in China. It is used as an advertising platform by thousands of businesses in China.
Why is it that Alibaba is unable to afford to get these companies validated? If it is making between $300 and $500 from advertising these gold, platinum, and premium memberships? How much would it potentially cost to send an employee to these businesses to confirm that? They are in fact legitimate and they are in operation?
Alibaba does little to safeguard its users from being defrauded by businesses that advertise on its platform. As a result, consumers are consistently targeted by con artists. Alibaba is unable to do anything than apologise to the customer and advise them to conduct their own research on the company before doing business with them. Ironically, the customer discovered the company on Alibaba. Consumers conduct as much research as they possibly can on these businesses. By using websites such as fraud watch and other websites that advertise businesses that are scammers.
However, businesses such as Alibaba that continue to promote these scammers are nothing more than scammers themselves. Please conduct as much research as possible on these businesses. In light of this, I would like to state that they are unable to take additional measures to ensure the safety of its customers. By having the businesses listed on its website undergo legal verification and publish their credentials. Then I will not make any purchases from them. Alibaba is the actual crook in this situation!
